We see some the same names in 1780,1784 and 1785 in St.Lukes Caswell with Charles
II and in 1800 with Jean Hargis Blackard indicating that Job had lived at least
near the area
previously called St. Lukes. I am not completely convinced, but things keep
supporting the possibility that Job Blackard was living on the land that Charles
Blackard once owned or at least very close to it. Charles may have sold it and
Job bought it back because the acreage is so similar. If the tax lists had not
been in alphabetized form we could be certain. If any of the other tax lists
survive, I cannot find them in the NC Archives.
