McMillion, & Paul Patrick lay off & Cutt a road, Beginning
at a path nearest to John West's plantation leading to the Church, formerly
known by the name of the Indian Path, or Jeffrys path,
and that William Massey be appointed surveyor thereof, and the hands working
under William Massey & Richard White open the
said road, and that a former order and report thereof be reversed.

Clantons path running the best and Convenient's way to Nathaniel Peebles
mill, from thence a direct course crossing Tarr river
at or near Claptons ford, from thence the most Convenient way into the
road at or near John Popes path, Ordered that Matthew
Duty, William Duty, Roger Thronton, Urbane Nichols, Richard Clapton, Joseph
Edwards, Benjamin Fuller, Lewelling Jones, Nathaniel
Henderson, James Lockheart, Thomas Tharrington, John Stone, William Hancok,
Thos Wooton, James Murray, Edmond Jones, Christopher
Roberson and William Bagley view and lay off the same, and ordered that
Nathaniel Peebles be Overseer of the same, And that the
petitioners assist him in opening and Clearing the same.105
