I know most of the officers on this losing side were transported to the East Indies, especially Barbados. I wonder if Edward was. Simon (1675-1734) and Elizabeth (1677-1742) Jeffreys. Elizabeth was married to a Hilliard before Simon. Her maiden name was either Pottle or Boddie. Simon was also married twice to Mrs. Joanna Taylor (1679). Her daughter, Elizabeth married a Boddie, as well (she also married John Pope).

Simon and Elizabeth Jeffreys of Bertie Co NC were from James City Co Va. There were two children Osborne and Elizabeth .Elizabeth first John Bodie and 2nd John Pope
