Land sold to satisfy debt of Henry Chambles & Henry Temple to Peter Davis, with interest from 4 June 1764, plus costs & fees. Land in Bute Co., called the meeting house land whereon William Mangrum formerly lived and sold to Henry Chambles, on Reedy Branch & great Rockey Branch, adj. Jos. Green & Acock. Debt to Peter Davis paid & overplush (sic) applied to debts of Henry Chambles.
